Did you know that the term meme came from the Greek word mimema, which means “imitated”? TIL moment for us, yeah?
With that useful information out of the way, let's move to the part about memes that we actually care about - making them!
We've seen a lot of KOGs-related memes and we feature some of them on our Twitter account during #MondayMemes. But we want more, and where better to look than in our own community! And what better way to nudge Koggers to make #KOGs-memes than a free 2nd Edition Booster pack! If you still don't know where we're going with this, we're giving away 2nd Edition Booster packs to the best #KOGs-memes we'll see and feature on our social media accounts. Yes, it's as simple as it sounds.

Submission period - #kogs-memes: Tuesdays 9:00AM UTC (5:00PM GMT+8) to Fridays 9:00AM UTC (5:00PM GMT+8)
Voting period - #kogs-memes-voting: Fridays at 10:00AM UTC (6:00PM GMT+8) to Mondays 0:00 UTC (8:00AM GMT+8)
MECHANICS
- Create your original #KOGs-memes. Please be wholesome. Memes with the following themes and/or features will be DISQUALIFIED:
- Obscenity
- Nudity
- Offensive to any race or culture
- Competitor branding
- Memes previously posted on the official KOGs Facebook page and Twitter account
- Memes featured on the website here and here.
- Submit your #KOGs-memes from Tuesdays 9:00AM UTC (5:00PM GMT+8) to Fridays 9:00AM UTC (5:00PM GMT+8) on #kogs-memes channel in our Discord community.
- All meme submissions in #kogs-memes channel will be screened by the RFOX Games Team.
- At the start of the submission period every Tuesday 9:00AM UTC (5:00PM GMT+8) , a highlighted message will be posted on the #kogs-memes Discord channel. All memes posted after that message will be considered as entries for that week.
- When the submission period ends every Fridays 9:00AM UTC (5:00PM GMT+8), another highlighted message will be posted on the #kogs-memes Discord channel. All memes posted after that message will NOT be considered for that particular contest week.
- Every Friday at 10:00AM UTC (6:00PM GMT+8), The RFOX Games team will post all valid entries on #kogs-memes-voting channel.
- Vote for your favorite #KOGs-memes posted on #kogs-memes-voting channel by putting a thumbs up emoji 👍 reaction to the post. Voting for the current week period will be from Fridays at 10:00AM UTC (6:00PM GMT+8) to Mondays 0:00 UTC (8:00AM GMT+8)
- Of course, the #KOGs-meme with the most votes by the end of the voting period is the winner.
- Non-winning valid entries CANNOT be submitted the following week. Resubmissions will be disqualified.
- The winning #KOGs-meme will be featured on the official KOGs Facebook page and Twitter account for #MondayMemes on Mondays 10:00 UTC (6:00PM GMT+8).
- The prize of one (1) 2nd Edition Booster Pack for the winning #KOGs-meme will be awarded on Thursday following the announcement of the winner on the official KOGs social media channels.
