Introducing KOGGU
January 9, 2021
KOGs Now On Ethereum

Collectible, slammable, tradeable KOGs NFTs began their journey on the WAX Blockchain and quickly became a bestseller.
And now they’ve found another home on the Ethereum network!
Meet KOGGU, the first KOG on ETH. KOGGU flies around the blockchain sporting 2 border colors— red and black, plus blue and green. Curious to find out more? Let’s answer some of your most pressing questions …
Where Did KOGGU Come From?
The KOGs 2nd Edition Collector’s Sale took place in December of 2020. The two-part sale happened on WAX — via AtomicHub and Ethereum via RFOX tokens.
KOGGU now freely trades on OpenSea, and the original owners are those who purchased KOGs 2nd Edition Collector’s Boxes during December’s sale. The only way to get Collector’s Boxes was — and still is — by redeeming (burning) $2ECT tokens.
Anyone who traded RFOX tokens for $2ECT tokens during the 3-hour Collector’s Sale earned themselves a KOGGU NFT. 1 token purchased during the launch window equates to a blue and green KOGGU. 2 tokens equals a red and black KOGGU, and purchasers of 3 or more tokens earned both KOGGUs.
How Many KOGGUs Live in the Wild?
Blue and green KOGGUs have a maximum supply of 300, with 125 150 currently in circulation. The other 150 are reserved as giveaways for contests, bonuses for liquidity providers, and as rewards within the play-to-earn mode of our upcoming mobile app.
As for the red and black KOGGU, only 150 will ever exist!
How Can I Put KOGGU in My Wallet?
If you purchased at least 1 $2ECT token during the KOGs 2nd Edition Collector’s Sale, KOGGU is now waiting for you on OpenSea. Simply sign in to OpenSea using the same ETH address you used for purchasing tokens.
If you didn’t grab at least one $2ECT token during December’s sale, you can purchase KOGGUs on the open market. At least for now, KOGGU is exclusive to OpenSea, one of the Ethereum network’s largest NFT marketplaces.
What Type of ERC Token is KOGGU?
KOGGUs are ERC1155 NFTs, a somewhat new token standard that’s not yet supported by all marketplaces. The ERC1155 standard is so fresh that you can’t yet see KOGGU NFTs in MetaMask.
However, OpenSea’s new collection manager lets you see KOGGU from every angle. KOGGU is embedded in OpenSea as a complete 3D model, allowing you to spin and zoom in at will.
And, like its WAX counterparts, KOGGU is one of OpenSea’s top-ranked NFTs. After less than a week of sales, the KOGs collection is already in the top 50.
What’s Next for KOGGU?
Although it resides on a different chain, KOGGU is an official KOG, short for Keys to Other Games. In the future, KOGGU will have a role within the same gaming ecosystem using our WAX-based KOGs.
This integration will take some time, however. Meanwhile, we do have some ideas for KOGGU utility on the ETH chain. Be sure to follow
